First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aims to understand how ketamine produces feelings of dissociation—like being detached from your body or surroundings. Researchers will give ketamine to 20 adults with epilepsy who are already staying in a monitoring unit. They will measure dissociative symptoms using a standard questionnaire to learn more about how the drug works.
