Ultrasound tool may better track rare artery disease
NCT ID NCT07571577
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special ultrasound score (OTUS) can track disease activity in people with Takayasu arteritis, a rare condition that causes inflammation in large arteries. About 100 adults with active disease will have regular ultrasounds during routine care. The goal is to see if the score changes as the disease improves, which could help doctors monitor patients more accurately.
