Summary
This study aimed to create a computer program that can automatically identify arteries and bones in ultrasound images taken during surgery. The goal is to help surgeons navigate more accurately when removing abdominal tumors. Fifty adult patients scheduled for abdominal surgery participated. The research focused on developing and testing the algorithm, not on directly treating the cancer.
