Summary
This study tests a new ultrasound method to see if it can predict whether chemotherapy is working for colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. Standard scans take about 2 months to show results, but this ultrasound looks at blood flow inside the tumor after just 1-2 chemo cycles. If successful, doctors could adjust treatment faster, reducing side effects and costs for patients who aren't responding. The study will involve 107 adults with untreated liver metastases.
