New bladder cancer drug shows promise in early trial

Summary
This early-phase study tested a new drug called UGN-301 (zalifrelimab) in 51 people with recurrent non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. The goal was to check the drug's safety and find the best dose when given directly into the bladder, alone or with other treatments. Results will help guide future studies.
