Summary
This study tested whether a medication called tranexamic acid (TXA) can reduce blood loss during cosmetic breast surgery. Researchers compared blood loss in patients who received TXA before their procedure to those who received a placebo. The goal was to see if TXA helps control bleeding and improves safety for patients undergoing this type of surgery.
