Double the heat, double the protection? new study aims to boost cervical cancer prevention for women with HIV
NCT ID NCT07468695
Summary
This study is testing if using two heat probes instead of one is a better way to treat cervical precancer in women living with HIV. It will involve 300 women in Kenya who have a positive screening test. Researchers will compare the standard one-probe treatment to a new two-probe method to see which is more effective at clearing the virus that causes precancer.
