Summary

This study aims to develop a method to measure how the body breaks down tryptophan, an essential amino acid. Ten healthy adults aged 18-45 will take a special tracer and provide blood and urine samples. The goal is to eventually use this method to improve nutrition for preterm babies on IV feeding.
