First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of three drugs (panitumumab, carboplatin, and paclitaxel) given before surgery to women with triple-negative breast cancer that did not respond to standard chemotherapy. The goal was to shrink tumors enough to allow less extensive surgery. The trial included 43 participants with early-stage breast cancer. Results focused on how much cancer remained at the time of surgery.
