Coaching program aims to bridge care gap for young adults with arthritis
NCT ID NCT05545839
Summary
This study tested whether a coaching program is practical and helpful for young adults with childhood arthritis (like juvenile idiopathic arthritis or lupus) as they move from pediatric to adult medical care. The program aimed to provide support and teach self-management skills during this important life transition. Researchers worked with 26 young adults to see if this type of support could be successfully delivered and studied on a larger scale.
