Summary
This study aims to find out how many people have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and its more serious form, NASH. Researchers will use advanced MRI scans to diagnose the condition in 800 adults from Olmsted County, Minnesota. Participants will be followed over time to track long-term health outcomes like liver damage, heart problems, and cancer. The goal is to improve diagnosis and understand the true impact of these liver diseases.
