Cancer patients' smoking habits tracked after radiation

NCT ID NCT06910566

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study follows 100 head and neck or lung cancer patients who smoke or used to smoke. Researchers want to see what helps them stay away from cigarettes after they finish radiation or chemoradiation. Patients are checked at 1, 6, and 12 months after treatment ends. The goal is to learn what factors support long-term quitting, not to test a new treatment.
