Summary
This study looks back at 65 adults who had one of two surgeries for a painful jaw joint condition (TMJ disc displacement). The goal is to see which surgery better improves mouth opening, reduces pain, and helps the jaw work better. Researchers also check recovery speed, side effects, and what factors might predict a good outcome.
