Summary
This study involved 32 people with advanced lung, bladder, ovarian, or other cancers who chose to donate their bodies to research after death. Within 3 hours of passing, researchers collected tumor samples to study how cancer changes and spreads. The goal was to learn more about cancer's origins and evolution, not to provide treatment.
