First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving numbing injections before or after gallbladder surgery helps reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers. About 96 adults having planned gallbladder removal will be randomly assigned to receive the injections either before the surgeon starts or after the surgery ends. The goal is to find the best timing to improve comfort and recovery.
