First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a numbing injection to the belly muscles before or after gallbladder surgery helps reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers. About 96 adults having their gallbladder removed will be randomly assigned to get the injection either before the surgeon starts or after the surgery ends. The goal is to find the best timing to improve comfort and recovery.
