First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether eating only during a set window each day (time-restricted eating) can lower breast cancer risk in women over 50 with metabolic issues like prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. 178 women completed the 16-week program, tracking their eating times and health markers like blood sugar. The goal was to see if this simple lifestyle change could improve biological risk factors for breast cancer.
