First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether eating only during a set window each day (time-restricted eating) can reduce breast cancer risk in women over 50 with metabolic problems like prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. 178 women followed the eating plan for 16 weeks. Researchers measured how well they stuck to the plan and checked blood sugar and insulin levels, which are linked to cancer risk.
