Can eating on a schedule and exercise beat fatty liver?
NCT ID NCT05897073
Summary
This study tested whether combining time-restricted eating (eating within a limited daily window) with supervised exercise is more effective at reducing liver fat and improving heart health than either approach alone. It involved 187 adults with obesity over 12 weeks. Researchers compared the combination to time-restricted eating only, exercise only, and a usual-care group to see which was best.
