Summary

This study tests a procedure called thyroid artery embolization (TAE) for people with large thyroid nodules that cause pressure symptoms like trouble swallowing or breathing. The goal is to shrink the nodules by blocking their blood supply. The study will enroll 20 adults who cannot have or do not want standard surgery. Researchers will measure changes in nodule size and symptom relief using a patient questionnaire.
