New ultrasound probe and AI aim to sharpen thyroid nodule detection
NCT ID NCT07488585
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Sep 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This pilot study will test a new ultrasound probe and machine learning software to see if they can better visualize thyroid nodules compared to standard ultrasound. About 30 adults with known benign thyroid nodules will receive both types of scans. The goal is to improve detection and imaging of thyroid abnormalities.
