Summary
This study is testing a special thermal probe that measures temperature changes in the lining of the colon during a routine colonoscopy. The goal is to see if the probe can detect inflammation in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. About 20 adults will take part, and the probe will be used alongside their standard care. This is an early-stage study focused on whether the device works, not on treating the disease.
