Can a new group therapy class ease depression and anxiety by teaching better social skills?
NCT ID NCT06170801
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special group therapy class to standard one-on-one cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps people with depression or anxiety. The group class, called Kiesler Circle Training, focuses on improving how people interact with others. Researchers are comparing the standard therapy alone to the therapy plus the group class in 156 patients to see which approach better reduces symptoms and improves social skills.
