New therapy aims to ease the mental burden on cancer caregivers
NCT ID NCT04867122
Summary
This study tested whether a short therapy program could help family caregivers of cancer patients feel less anxious and depressed. Over 500 unpaid caregivers were randomly assigned to receive either three sessions of problem-solving therapy or three general support sessions. The goal was to see if learning practical coping skills could improve caregivers' mental well-being while they support their loved ones.
