Texting parents after teen suicide scare: a lifeline?

Summary
This study tests whether sending supportive text messages to parents of teens who visited the ER for suicide risk can help prevent future suicide attempts and reduce parent stress. About 420 parent-teen pairs will take part. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost approach makes a difference.
