Summary
This study aims to prevent binge drinking and its consequences in about 3,000 US Air Force technical trainees. Participants will receive either the standard brief alcohol intervention or that plus automated text messages timed around when they first get access to alcohol off base. The goal is to see if the texts help reduce hazardous drinking and alcohol-related incidents over six months.
