First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving older men testosterone for a short time, with or without exercise, creates a lasting 'muscle memory' that makes future training more effective. 45 healthy men aged 55-70 participated. The goal was to see if a past dose of testosterone helps muscles grow stronger and bigger when retrained later.
