Can nerve pain drugs stop chronic cough in lung patients?

Summary
This study tests whether two drugs, duloxetine and amitriptyline, can reduce coughing in people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). About 25 adults with a chronic cough for at least 3 months will receive either a low or high dose of one drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see if cough frequency drops over 8 weeks, with optional follow-up for up to a year.
