First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a telemedicine program using a smartphone app and a smartwatch can help manage decompensated cirrhosis, a serious liver condition. About 120 adults with advanced liver disease will use the digital platform to share health data and receive remote check-ins from nurses. The goal is to see if this approach reduces hospital stays, emergency visits, and medical costs compared to standard care.
