First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a telemedicine program using a smartphone app and a smartwatch can help people with advanced liver disease (decompensated cirrhosis) avoid hospital stays and emergency visits. About 120 adults will either receive standard care or the digital care model, which includes remote monitoring and regular check-ins from a care team. The goal is to see if this approach lowers medical costs and improves quality of life.
