Can a video call replace your Pre-Birth anesthesia visit?
NCT ID NCT05975411
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether pregnant women could have their pre-birth anesthesia checkup via telemedicine instead of traveling to the hospital. 60 women participated, using a telemedicine cabin or cart near home. The goal was to see if remote airway exams work as well as in-person visits and to gather feedback from patients and doctors.
