Remote checkups for safer births: telemedicine anesthesia pilot launches
NCT ID NCT05975411
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether pregnant women can have their pre-birth anesthesia checkup via video call instead of traveling to the hospital. About 60 women participated, using a telemedicine cabin or cart near home. The goal was to see if remote exams work as well as in-person visits and to gather feedback from patients and doctors.
