Summary
This study tested a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) delivered via telehealth to help Veterans with substance use disorders who feel lonely. 36 Veterans took part to see if the therapy was acceptable and could reduce loneliness and substance use. The goal was to gather information for a larger future study.
