First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a program called TEACH-ER that helps children with asthma after they leave the emergency room. It includes asthma education, a virtual doctor visit within a week, and follow-up video calls to help families manage asthma at home. The goal is to see if this support reduces the need for future ER visits and hospital stays. About 430 children ages 3 to 12 will take part and be followed for one year.
