First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can improve memory, attention, and multitasking in veterans who have both mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and PTSD. About 46 veterans will receive either real or fake tDCS while doing cognitive training at home. The goal is to see if this approach can ease cognitive symptoms and improve daily function.
