Summary
This study tested whether applying a special elastic tape near the surgical cut could help reduce pain for people recovering from heart bypass surgery. Researchers compared real therapeutic tape, a fake placebo tape, and a different supportive treatment in 195 patients. They measured pain levels, movement, and medication use to see if this simple, drug-free method could improve recovery.
