Summary
This study tested whether applying a special elastic tape to the chest could help reduce pain after heart bypass surgery. Researchers compared real therapeutic tape, fake placebo tape, and tape applied to other body areas in 195 patients. They measured pain levels, movement, sleep, and medication use to see if this simple, drug-free method could improve recovery.
