Summary
This study explores whether a tampon can collect samples to detect endometrial and ovarian cancer early. Researchers will look for DNA changes in the tampon and compare them to tissue samples from surgery. About 1,500 women scheduled for hysterectomy or ovary removal will participate. The goal is to find a simple, non-invasive way to catch these cancers sooner, especially in diverse populations.
