Summary
This study explores whether a tampon can be used to collect samples for detecting endometrial (uterine) and ovarian cancer. Researchers will analyze DNA and proteins from tampons and compare them to tissue samples from 1,500 women undergoing surgery. The goal is to develop a simple, non-invasive test that could catch these cancers earlier, especially in diverse populations.
