Mind-Body showdown: can tai chi or yoga better ease anxiety and improve sleep?
NCT ID NCT07480174
Summary
This study aims to see if Tai Chi or yoga is better at improving flexibility, reducing anxiety, and enhancing sleep quality in healthy women. Forty women aged 18-45 will be randomly assigned to complete either an 8-week Tai Chi program or an 8-week yoga program, with two 45-minute sessions each week. Researchers will measure changes in flexibility, anxiety levels, and sleep quality before and after the program to compare the effects of these two popular mind-body exercises.
