NCT ID NCT05459909
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a synbiotic supplement (a mix of probiotics and prebiotics) and eating more fruits and vegetables can lower the risk of obesity and related health problems in Hong Kong Chinese adults. One hundred overweight or obese participants will follow the diet and/or take the supplement for eight weeks. Researchers will measure changes in body weight, body fat, and markers of metabolic health.
