First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system and inflammation change in people having a stroke who receive clot-busting drugs or mechanical clot removal. Researchers will take blood samples at several time points over a year to measure inflammatory markers. The goal is to see if these markers are linked to better or worse recovery of thinking and physical abilities. About 300 adults will take part.
