First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system and inflammation change in people having a stroke who receive clot-busting treatment or mechanical clot removal. Researchers will measure inflammatory markers in the blood at several time points over a year. The goal is to see if these markers are linked to better or worse recovery of thinking and physical abilities. About 300 adults will take part.
