NCT ID NCT07522034
First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a stress ball or getting a gentle hand massage during eye surgery can help lower anxiety, pain, and improve vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure. About 174 adults having eye surgery while awake will be split into three groups: hand massage, stress ball, or standard care. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make surgery more comfortable.
