Simple stress ball may ease pain after knee surgery

NCT ID NCT07586436

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether using a stress ball or doing breathing exercises can reduce pain and keep vital signs stable when a surgical drain is removed after knee replacement. About 105 adults will be split into three groups: stress ball, breathing exercises, or standard care. The goal is to see if these simple, drug-free methods help make a short but painful procedure more comfortable.
