Stem cell shot may mend eye wounds that won't heal

Summary
This study tests whether injecting stem cells from a donor's bone marrow around the eye can help heal corneal ulcers that haven't improved with standard treatments. About 38 adults with persistent damage to the eye's surface will receive the injection and be monitored for up to 90 days. The goal is to see if the stem cells can restore the cornea's protective layer and improve vision.
