Summary
This study is for people who need a stem cell transplant but only have a half-matched donor, like a parent or child. The goal is to reduce the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), where donor cells attack the patient's body. Researchers will use a device to select only the CD34+ stem cells from the donor's blood, removing most T cells that cause GvHD. The study will check if this approach leads to successful engraftment and lowers severe GvHD rates.
