New study aims to ease the burden of stem cell recovery for patients and families

Summary

This study tests two short programs to help stem cell transplant patients and their family caregivers work together to manage the complex daily medical routine after leaving the hospital. The goal is to see if these programs improve how well patients follow their care plan and reduce stress for both patients and caregivers. About 208 patient-caregiver pairs will take part.
