First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining a statin with ezetimibe works better than a statin alone to lower LDL (bad) cholesterol below 70 mg/dL in people who recently had a stroke. About 300 adults with atherosclerosis and high LDL will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see if the combo helps more patients reach the target cholesterol level.
