New nerve block could ease agony after spinal surgery
NCT ID NCT07326774
Summary
This study is observing whether a specific nerve block, given with ultrasound guidance, helps control pain after back surgery. Researchers will follow 60 adults having elective lumbar spine surgery to see if the block reduces their pain scores and need for opioid painkillers in the first day after their operation. The study is observational, meaning doctors will decide on the best pain management plan for each patient as part of normal care.
