Scientists probe how electric spine devices ease pain
NCT ID NCT04732325
Summary
This study aimed to understand how spinal cord stimulation devices affect pain processing in people with chronic pain. Researchers observed 34 patients who were already using these devices as part of their regular medical care. They measured how repeated pain stimuli were perceived differently during treatment to learn why this therapy works.
